We collect the following information when you use EventMoment:

• Account data: name and email address when you register.
• Event data: event details you enter (title, date, location, description, cover image).
• RSVP data: name, email, and response submitted by your guests.
• Photos: images uploaded by guests via the gallery feature.
• Payment data: payment processing is handled by Polar. We do not store card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the EventMoment platform and provide the Service.
• To process your payment and publish your event.
• To display event information and RSVPs to the event host.
• To store and serve photos uploaded by guests.

We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use it for advertising purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers necessary to operate EventMoment:

• Neon – PostgreSQL database hosting.
• Supabase – File storage for event photos and cover images.
• Polar – Payment processing.

All providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

4. Guest Data

When a guest submits an RSVP, their name and email are stored and made visible to the event host only. Guests may request deletion of their RSVP data by contacting us.

5. Data Retention

Event data, RSVPs, and photos are retained for 12 months after an event is published. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at eventmoment@atomicmail.io.

7. Cookies

EventMoment uses a session cookie for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
